App Installation and Setup Guide

 

1. Install the App

  1. Select the install link or button.
  2. You’ll be directed to a page that prompts you to integrate with Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, and Salesloft.
  3. Select the preferred CRM option, which will redirect you to its login page.
  4. Login to the CRM, complete the registration form for usage, and submit it.
  5. You’ll then be redirected to your Slack workspace.
  6. If the app is already installed, you will be redirected to a page notifying that your workspace admin has already installed the application.

2. Check if the App is Already Installed

  1. Access the app's configuration in Slack.
  2. Right-click the app in Slack and select Configuration.
  3. You will be redirected to the Slack configuration page for the app.

3. Remove the App from Slack

  1. On the configuration page, remove the app from the Slack workspace.
  2. Keep this page open, as it will later present an option to add the app to a new channel.

4. Remove the App from Slack (Alternate Method)

  1. Return to the Slack application.
  2. Click the cross icon near the app in the app list when hovering over it.
  3. Select Configuration again and use the Slack website to remove the integration.

5. Finalize the App Setup

  1. Once integrated, the app's homepage will start functioning within Slack.
  2. Configure additional settings such as dispositions, user groups, etc.
  3. Add reports, goals, challenges, and trivia as required.
  4. Set the time for these options and channels to make them functional.

6. Test Functionality

  1. Send a message to the app.
  2. Run slash commands.
  3. Verify that the app operates as expected.

CRM Selection

After you install Leaderbird, you will be redirected to a landing page where you can select your choice of CRM. Simply select the link for Hubspot, Salesforce, Outreach or Salesloft and continue to sign into your CRM account, authorize the Leaderbird app and you're set!

App Homepage

After setting up the CRM, you'll navigate to the app's homepage on Slack.

Here you'll see the status of your application, its connected CRM and subscription type.

The app homepage gives you the options for setting up the different messages the Leaderbird app can send to your workspace users and channels. This includes custom reports, challenges, alerts, success notifications, competitions, trivia and more. Plus it's your knowledge base for the Leaderbird app, check it out anytime to see how the app works and functions
